1952 – 2023

Jacqueline Ann “Jackie” Castle 71 of Greenup KY went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Norfolk VA on June 10, 1952, a daughter of the late William & Joyce Grounds Lawless.

Along with her husband Roger, she owned and operated, Castle Marina in Greenup Ky; she was a member of the Greenup Presbyterian Church, a former member of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society. She loved to race boats, Bungee jump and skydive.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a brother, Terry Lawless.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Roger Warren Castle; a daughter, Rae Lynn Barker and her husband Shannon of Greenup; two grandchildren, Kayla Westfall and her husband Elijah of Jacksonville NC and Brandon Wilburn and his wife Melissa of Greenup; seven great grandchildren, Brett Lee, Caleb Cooper, Lucas Cooper, Brantley Wilburn, Aisley Wilburn, Madilynn Wilburn and Harper Wilburn; a brother, David Lawless and his wife Susie of Ironton; three sisters, Debbie Harper and her husband Lynn of Kitts Hill OH, Billie Jarvis and her husband Roger of Chesapeake OH and Karen Nelson and her husband Brent of Tennessee; a sister in law, Diane Shortridge; an aunt, Ellie Lou Lawless along with a host on nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 12 Noon on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Jack Edwards.

Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till the time of the funeral on Thursday at the funeral home.
