Janice Ann “Dolly” Newman 79 of Wurtland KY went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wurtland KY.

She was born in Ironton OH a daughter of the late Dowell C. & Nellie Scaggs Newman.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a brother David Newman.

She is survived by a brother, Daniel Joseph Newman and his wife Sheila of Bayfield CO; a sister Janet Crabtree and her husband James of Russell along with many extended family and friends.

A private burial will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland KY.

There is no public visitation.   

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
