Jo Ann Holmes, 82, of Flatwoods KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Ashland KY on February 16, 1943, a daughter of the late Hurshell & Geneva Salisbury Salyers.

She was a Nurses Aid for over 40 years at Elmwood Village and Kings Daughters & Sons Care Facility.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband Bernard Allen Holmes.

She is survived by two children, John “Ernie” Holmes and his wife Kendra of Raceland and Patricia Ann Osborn (Tim Grubb) of Wurtland; four grandchildren, Jaclyn Smith, Ryan Holmes, Savannah Osborn and Pecos Osborn; four great grandchildren, Gunner, Raelyn, Noah and Abel along with a host of extended family and friends.

The family will hold private services at a later date.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
