Jo Ann Reed 80, of Raceland KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 17, 2026, after an extended illness.  

She was born on July 22, 1946, in Huntington WV, a daughter of the late Walter Lee & Blanche Dale White Garrett.

She was a member of the Russell Baptist Church and was a retired Loan Officer for the Ashland Employee Credit Union.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a brother Thomas Lee Garrett.

She is survived by a son, Randy Benton “R.B.” Reed and his wife Angie of Westwood KY; four grandchildren, Jaxson Reed, Jaiden Reed, Sydney Waite and Alexandra Bell; four great grandchildren; a brother, James Benton Garrett of Nashville TN along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Ken Gowin and Roger McCaleb.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.   

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
