John Cecil Brown, 91, of Greenup, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born in Wurtland, Kentucky, on November 11, 1930, a son of the late Herbert and Bertha Pruitt Brown.

John enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death, along with his parents by his wife, Iomegene Brown, and a daughter, Wilma Jean Rose.

He is survived by a son John Wesley Brown of Greenup and a daughter, Birtha Faye Rose of Greenup.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Brother Danny Brown.

Burial will follow in the Halley-Brown Cemetery in Greenup, Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM till the time of the Funeral on Sunday at the Funeral Home.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
