John Virgin

1963 – 2020

John Paul Virgin 57, of Argillite went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at his residence.

He was born in Russell KY on January 15, 1963 a son of the late Paul Edwin Virgin and the late Cordelia Reed Virgin Miller.

He was a self employed logger and a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife, Karen Gumbert Virgin.

He is survived by two brothers, Greg Virgin and his wife Roberta of Oldtown and Dennis Virgin and his wife Lydia of Argillite; a sister, Joanna Fyffe and her husband Ronnie of Lexington along with a host of extended family and friends.

The family will hold a graveside memorial service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Oldtown Cemetery in Oldtown KY.

Burial will follow in Oldtown Cemetery.

There is no visitation.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with John’s arrangements.
