Judy Hayes Coffey

Judy Hayes Coffey 71 of Flatwoods went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell KY.

She was born in Ashland KY on May 24, 1947 a daughter of the late William Lonzo & Opal Adams Hayes.

She was a former housekeeper for Greenbo Lake State Park, loved arts and crafts and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a sister, Gloria Dean Thornton and a brother, Steve Hayes.

She is survived by her husband of 46 year, Curtis E. Coffey; a daughter, Angela Woods of Flatwoods; two sons, Trever Coffey (Anna) of Russell and Scott Coffey of Raceland; two brothers, Stanley Hayes and his wife Teresa and Rick Hayes and his wife Debbie both of Argillite; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup by Brothers Bill Evans and James Lindsey.

Burial will follow in the Pennsylvania Cemetery in Argillite KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Monday and one hour before the funeral Tuesday at the funeral home.
