Donald Keith Chaffins 60, of Franklin Furnace OH formally of Load KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth OH.

He was born in Ashland KY on August 27, 1965, the son of Don Chaffins of Chillicothe OH & the late Susan Diane Kazee Thompson.

He was a truck driver for JAD’s Trucks.

He is survived by his father, Don Chaffins and his wife Pamela; two children, Justin Chaffins and Jessicka Chaffins–Virgin; four siblings, Christopher Thompson, Gary B. Thompson, Lovetta Rigney and her husband Mike and Crystal Diane Thompson; three grandchildren, Abigail Hunter, Nathan Virgin and Meah Raines; two aunts, Betty Felty and Karen Jackson along with several cousins extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Load Christian Baptist Church by Brother Robbie Bond.

The family will receive visitors from 12 noon till the time of the service at the church on Saturday.

Burial will follow in the Chaffins Cemetery on Little White Oak Road in Load KY.
