1944 – 2021

 

Kenneth Edward Holbrook 77 of Portsmouth OH went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 15, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth OH.

He was born in Letitia KY on February 28, 1944 the youngest child of the late William & Nellie Leadingham Holbrook.

He was a retired Machinist from National Mines, and he was a graduate of McKell High School Class of 1962.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by two brothers, Arthur Holbrook and William Holbrook Jr. and five sisters, Letha Tolliver, Ruby Roark, Maxine Sargent, Gertrude Humphries and Evelyn Cullen.

He is survived by a daughter, Kim Rose and her husband Kenny of Lucasville; two sons, Jamie Dwayne Holbrook and his wife Missy of South Shore and Steven Edward Holbrook and his wife Tuesday of Portsmouth; eight grandchildren, Kamryn Holbrook, Kyla Holbrook, Bethany Stephenson, Breann Holbrook, Ashley Willis, Brady Holbrook, Ryan Adkins and Jeff Adkins; five great grandchildren, Donella Adkins, Kason Willis, Kylan Willis, Kaelyn Stephenson and Kierra Stephenson; two sisters, Mona Wright of Greenup and Janet Childers of Middleburg FL along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Siloam Cemetery in South Shore KY by Dr. Thomas Melvin.

Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery.

There is no visitation.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with his arrangements.
