Kenny Ball
1949 – 2025
Kenneth John “Kenny” Ball, 75, of Wurtland KY, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at UK/Kings Daughter’s Medical Center in Ashland KY.
He was born in Waynesburg PA, on September 14, 1949, a son of the late Charles Ray & Esther Jenkins Ball.
Kenny was the pastor of the New Buckley Road Freewill Baptist Church, a member of the Operating & Engineers Union, owner of Ball & Sons Construction Inc., was the former superintendent of the Wurtland Water District, a former member of the Greenup Masonic Lodge #89 and of the Scottish Rite and he was a Gideon.
He was proceeded in death along with his parents by a brother, Billy Ball and a sister, Kathy Riggs.
He is survived by his wife Linda Gayle Ison Ball; three sons, Ronald Ray Ball and his wife Sheila of Greenup KY, Donald Ray Ball and his wife Traci of Greenup KY and Nathan Andrew Ball and his wife Kristen of Wurtland KY; a daughter, Melissa Gayle LeMaster and her husband Brian of Greenup KY; 9 grandchildren, Dylan Ball, Lane Ball (Megan), Parker Ball, Ali Fannin (Jared), Olivia Ross (Brady), Malachi Ball, Ezekiel Ball, Belle Slate (Keith) and Luke LeMaster (Hailee); 5 great-grandchildren, Liam Ross, Finley Ross, Logan Fannin, Reed Fannin and Brian Slate; 2 sisters, Judy Morgan of Lancaster OH and Pamela Lehman of Lancaster OH; a mother-in-law, Frances Ison of Wurtland KY; a sister-in-law, Tara Ison Chinn and her husband Chuck of Greenup KY along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, church family and friends.
There are no services.
Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
