Kevin Dean Grady, 71, of Flatwoods, KY, passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 15, 2026. Our hearts are broken by the sudden loss, but we take comfort in knowing he is with his Heavenly Father now.

He was born in Savannah, GA to the late Charles W. Grady and Rhae Merritt Starke.

Music was always a large part of his life. Kevin was a self taught guitar player, song writer, singer, worship leader and a pioneer in the Contemporary Christian Music industry. He got into radio on a dare and loved it. From starting in the 1970's in Tulsa, OK with a program called the Gospel According to Music to his most recent worldwide internet radio broadcast - The Narrow Way, Kevin touched 1000's of listeners with his radio ministry.

He loved his family, children, grandchildren, great grandchild, the Beatles, and sharing Jesus.

He is survived by Diane Comer; a son, Ryan Grady; three daughters, Christina (Chrissy) Grady (Rob), Kelly Persons (Chris), and Savannah Grady; six grandchildren, Madison Davis, Kullen Stroud, Lauren Grady, Michael Grady, Jesse Persons, and Eliana Persons; a great-granddaughter, Ivy Williams; two brothers, Keith Grady and Lee O'Neal (Beri); and the mothers of his children, Susan French and Becky Adkins, along with a host of extended family and friends.

We will cherish the memories, laughter, wisdom, and love he shared with all of us. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY, by Brother Kevin Harrison.

Burial will follow in the Leonhart Cemetery in Greenup, KY.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
