1947-2022

Larry Curtis Arthur, 74, of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born in Ironton, OH on June 26, 1947, a son of the late Curtis and Gertrude Chatfield Arthur.

Larry was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Wheelersburg, Ohio.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amoret Robinson Arthur; a son, Jeremy Scott Arthur and his wife Amy of Lynn KY; a daughter, Melanie Dawn Urwin and her husband Joe of Franklin Furnace OH; two brothers, Derald Arthur of Wheelersburg, OH and William  Arthur; special friends, Ed and Linda Hunt of Kitts Hill, OH; four grandchildren, Pyper Marie Arthur, Paycen Scott Arthur, Michael Curtis Urwin and Maura Elizabeth Urwin along with a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brothers Bryan White and Brandon Arthur.

Burial will follow in the Haverhill Cemetery in Franklin Furnace, Ohio.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2022, and 1 hour before the funeral Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers it’s requested that donations be made to Hospice 2201 25th Street Portsmouth OH 45662.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
