Larry Curtis Jr.

1966 – 2025

Larry Marvin Curtis Jr., 58, of South Shore KY, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center ER.

He was born in Shelby OH, on September 3, 1966, a son, of the late Larry Marvin Curtis Sr. & Ora Blevins Ratliff of South Point OH.

Larry was a 1984 graduate of South Point High School and the Collins Career Center where he learned how to be a HVAC Technician. He was a United States Veteran serving in the Army and a HVAC Technician for General Refrigeration.

He is survived along with his mother by his wife, Mary Eloise Fritz Curtis of South Shore KY; a son, Larry Austin Curtis and his wife Jordan of Aberdeen NC; a daughter, Dana Nicole Curtis of South Shore KY; a brother, Terry Lee Curtis and his wife Diana of Moundridge KS; five sisters, Tina McCloud and her husband Stan of South Point OH, Valerie Lamar Petrie and her husband Richard of Overland Park KS, Kristy Lee Lane and her husband Darin of McPherson KS, Linda Lee Campbell of Galion OH and April Ratliff of Ironton OH; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Graveside memorial services and burial with full Military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 15, 2025, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Greenup County Kentucky.
