1935-2023

Lenora (Reynolds) Moore 88, of Wurtland, Kentucky passed peacefully on July 5, 2023 at her residence. 

Lenora was born February 1, 1935 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to the late Roy Jackson and Anzona (Holbrook) Reynolds. On February 20, 1954, she married Carl Moore of Greenup who preceded her in death after 54 years of marriage. Lenora worked at the Olive Hill Sewing Factory before she got married. Then after several years raising their two boys, went to work at C and C's Builders of Rockdale, then worked as a maid at two motels in Ashland, Kentucky before retiring. Lenora loved her family. Before her stroke in 2018, she attended and loved the Old Regular Baptist Churches of the area. 

She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Viola Reynolds, Garnet Faye Reynolds, Juanita (Earl) Binion, Mollie Winters, Bill (Mary Ann) Reynolds, Glendell (Irene) Reynolds, and Grover (Martha) Reynolds. 

Left to cherish her memories are two sons: Donald Carl Moore and his wife Jennifer of Ashland, KY and Gregory Alan Moore (Fiancé, Teresa Brown) of Olive Hill; five grandchildren, Adam (Amy) Moore, Daniel (Tabitha) Moore, Letha Moore, Aaron (April) Brown, and Amanda Brown; nine great grandchildren, Joah, Samantha, Elizabeth, Briley, Jeriah, Carl (Tony), Shelby, Remi, and Deacon; a brother, Ronnie (Rhonda) Reynolds; a sister, Helen Bear; one special sister-in-law, Daphane Nelson; one special brother in Law, Ron Winters, one special niece, Lorita Carman, one special great niece, Nikki Burke, one special great-great niece, Lachlan Burke and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods KY by Elder Gary Blevins.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till Noon on Monday, July 10, 2023 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.
