Lewis Rush Kirk 69, of Flatwoods KY went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2026, at his home.

He was born in Pikeville KY on May 13, 1956, a son of the late Willis & Elmo Clark Kirk.

He was the owner of L & W Railroad Construction, worked for L R Daniels Transportation, a graduate of John’s Creek High School and was a Past Master at Greenup Lodge #89 F & AM.

He is survived by his wife Dora Lee Salsbury Kirk; two daughters, Stacy Sunshine Hannah and her husband Carlton of Raceland and Jamie Star Mann and her husband Brad of Versailles KY; two granddaughters, Jillian Claire Mann and Stella Grace Hannah both of Louisville KY; a brother, Larry Pugh of Pikeville along with a host of extended family and friends.

Masonic Funeral Services will be at 7:30 PM on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by members of the Greenup Masonic Lodge.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM till the time of the services on Monday at the funeral home. 

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
