Lillian Ruth Hall Barker 74 of Flatwoods, KY passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

Lillian was born May 28, 1946 in Oldtown KY a daughter of the late William Vernon & Lillian Ruth Meadows Hall.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Delilah Eve and two brothers, Phillip Hall and George Hall.

 She is survived by Carl Roger Barker her loving husband of 55 years; a son, Shannon “Wolfie” Barker and his wife Rae of Greenup; a daughter, Lori Brickles and her husband Jim of Greenup; two grandsons, James “J.D.” Brickles and Jared Brickles; two step grandchildren, Brandon Wilburn(Melissa) and Kayla Wilburn(Zack); five step great grandchildren, Caleb, Lucas, Brantley, Madilynn and Aisley; a brother, Charles Hall of Lloyd; a sister, Janice Swartout of Livonia MI along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Our dearest friends spoke of Lillian as having a servant’s heart. She enjoyed planning and hosting cookouts. She attended the Oldtown Christian Church. She also loved fishing, playing cards, quilting and bird watching.

Visitation for Lillian will be 6:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.

Burial will follow on Wednesday at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE.
