Linda Carroll Broughton, 76, of Lloyd KY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 21, 2026, at her residence.

She was born in Greenup County KY on March 19, 1950, a daughter of the late Lonnie Clifford & Vergie Jane George Meadows SR.

Linda was a member of the Brick Union Lighthouse Church in Lloyd KY and a graduate of Greenup Independent High School.

She was proceeded in death along with her parents by her husband, John Clinton Broughton; a stepson, Terry Clinton Broughton; two brothers, Lundie Meadows SR and Lonnie Clifford Meadows JR and two sisters Martha Mondane Meadows and Oralee Meadows.

She is survived by two daughters, Johnnie Jo Harris (John Akers) of Bellefonte KY and Bobbie Jo Floyd and her husband Josh of Greenup; three grandchildren, Cristin Pennington (Michael Preston), Charlie Floyd and Stevie Floyd, a great grandchild, Eloise Preston; two brothers, Johnny Meadows of South Shore KY and her twin, Wendell Meadows and his wife Gracie of Greenup KY; a sister, Geraldine Morris and her husband Bill of Raceland KY along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.

Burial will be at Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00AM till time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
