Linda Lyons Sowards 67 of Flatwoods KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington KY.

She was born in Paintsville KY on August 14, 1956, a daughter of James R. & Anne Burchette Lyons of Olive Hill KY.

She attended the Russell First Baptist Church. 

She is survived along with her parents by her husband of 44 years, Randall Dale “Randy” Sowards of Flatwoods; two daughters, Nicole Lynn Sowards (Donnie) of Lloyd KY and Miranda Shontea Nadeau and her husband Austin of Austin TX; two grandchildren, McKinley Susan Nadeau and Weston Gregory Nadeau; a sister, Edith Lyons of Olive Hill along with a host of extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods KY by Dr. Thomas Melvin.

There is no public visitation.
