Lisa Lynn Wessel 58 of Ashland KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington WV.

She was born in Ashland KY on June 3, 1965, a daughter of the late Clyde Raymond & Dona Rae Sexton Wells.

She was a former E.M.T. and emergency dispatcher in Boyd County.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by a brother, C.R. Wells.

She is survived by a son, Cody Wells and his wife Amanda of Ashland; a daughter, Desire Staten-Mills of Ashland; four grandchildren, Aiden Staten, Hailey Wells, Grayson Wells and Olivia Wells; a brother, Ron Wells and his wife Becky of Ashland along with a host of extended family and friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
