1965 – 2025

Lorna Jean Johnson 60, of Ashland KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at UK Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Charleston WV on April 10, 1965, a daughter of the late Carlos & Lavada Merrill Stepp.

She was a 1983 graduate of Paul Blazer High School. 

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a daughter, Ashley Nicole Johnson; a brother, Joseph Stepp and a sister, Delilah Stepp.

She is survived by her husband, George Johnson; a son, James Michael Johnson of Ashland; a brother, Carlos David Stepp of Ashland; a sister, Sue Trammell and her husband Roger of Ironton along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

There will be a celebration of life hosted by Sue and Roger Trammell at a later date.   

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
