1949 – 2021

Lydia Alice Urwin 72, of Franklin Furnace OH went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Portsmouth OH on February 28, 1949, a daughter of Joseph Lee & Dorothy Louise Brown Wright.

She was a member of the Franklin Furnace Independent Baptist Church and a former sales representative for Carver Mobile Homes in Franklin Furnace.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, Michael Thomas Urwin and a brother, Paul Lee Wright

She is survived by two sons, Jason Urwin and his wife Sarah of Straughn IN and Joe Urwin and his wife Melanie of Haverhill; a daughter, Julie McGuire and her husband James of Franklin Furnace; seven grandchildren, Hayden, Jonathan, Houston, David, Michael, Anna and Maura; a brother, Steve Wright and his wife Dixie of Waverly OH along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brothers Dennis Hankins and Mark Nichols.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg OH.

Visitation will be at 6:00PM on Monday, June 7, 2021, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Franklin Furnace Baptist Family Life Center 100 Seneak Ave. Franklin Furnace OH 45629.
