Mark Dexter Wells 60 of Flatwoods KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland KY.

He was born in Ashland KY on January 30, 1962 a son of the late James Fredrick & Juanita May Wells.

He was a backhoe operator for Miller Pipeline; a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of both Local 265 Laborers Union and the Operators of Engineers Union #18.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by a sister, Natalie Kay Barber and a brother, Mike Wells.

He is survived by a sister, Brenda Young of Richmond KY; three brothers, Greg Brown of Jackson OH and Don Wells and Kenny Wells both of Flatwoods; a brother-in-law, Terry Barber of Richmond KY; a sister-in-law, Linda Wells of Flatwoods along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.

Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE in Greenup County Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till the service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers make contributions to St. Jude’s Children or Feed the Children.
