1955 – 2022

Michael Dean Stowers 66 of Argillite KY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland KY.

He was born in Portsmouth OH on August 9, 1955, a son of the late Gilbert Dean & Ruth Reed Stowers.

He was the owner and operator of Stowers Towing and was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church in Summitt KY.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by his first wife, Chona Gale Jude Stowers and a sister, Deanna DiBella.

He is survived by his wife Johnda Sue Jordan Stowers; four sons, Michael Dean Stowers II of Flatwoods, Joshua Nathaniel (Sara) Stowers of Ashtabula OH,  Andrew David (Cody Ball) Stowers of Flatwoods and Justin (Keshia) Evans of Worthington; six grandchildren, Preston Stowers, McKenna Stowers, Gabby Stowers, Aubrey Stowers, Gage Evans and Radley Evans; a beloved aunt, Nema Pack along with a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, April 18, 2022, at the Gospel Light Baptist Church by Pastor Jason Porter.

Burial will be held later by the family.

The family will receive visitors one hour before the services at the church.

Wright's Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with the arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requested that memorial contributions be made towards the funeral expenses.
