1951 ~ 2025
Millie R. Conley Willis 74, of Wurtland KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.
She was born in Portsmouth OH on August 4, 1951, a daughter of the late Oakie & Love I Lee Fannin Conley.
She is a member of the Greenup Christian Church and Women on a Mission, the former public relations director for Addington Inc., former Executive Director for Leadership Tri-State and the past office manager for the Greenup Christian Church.
She was the past Chairman for the Greenup County Democrat Executive Committee and the Greenup County Democrat Women’s Club.
She was a volunteer and community activist serving on the boards of the Greenup County Zoning and Planning Commission, Greenup Old Fashion Days, Red Cross, McConnell House, Greenup County Little League, United Way, Greenup County Fair Board.
She is survived by her husband William Ray “Bill” Willis; two sons, Harry Fredrick Riddle III (Traci) of Suffolk VA and Bill Willis Jr. of Asheville NC; two daughters, Tonia Dee Buchanan (Kevin) of Springfield TN and Lori Willis of Asheville NC; six grandchildren, Sydney Watkins (Luke) of Bellevue KY, Cheyenne Buchanan (Alex) of Springfield TN, Kiana Riddle Tominaga of Sao Paulo Brazil, Alexander Riddle of Tempe Arizona, Emily Raeanna Wheeler (Tyler) of Summerville SC and Stephen Tanner Wheeler of Suffolk VA; two great grandchildren, Felipe Tominaga Pompilio and Princeton Michael Dickerson; six sisters, Judy Thompson (Bobby) of Wurtland, Gwen Myers (Marty) of Wurtland, Debbie Appleton of Russell, Jill Kemper (Tom) of Wurtland, Nioka Hess (Ralph) of The Villages FL and Lawanna Conlin (Rusty) of Wurtland along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, her church family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Greenup Christian Church by Brother Mike Dennis.
Burial will follow in the Old Field Cemetery in Argillite KY.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till the time of the service on Friday at the church.
Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
