1937 – 2020

Paul Vernon Rothenstine Sr. 82 of Warnock went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington WV.

He was born in Newcomerstown OH on July 31, 1937 a son of the late George & Erma Tice Rothenstine.

Paul was a retired supervisor for G.T.E., a veteran of the U.S. Navy, a member of the American Legion, Am Vets and the V.F.W..

He was preceded in death along with his parents by seven siblings, Ervin, Vic, George, Wilbur, Luella, Hazel and Edith.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Mae Potter Rothenstine; two sons, Mark Anthony Rothenstine and his wife Traci of Ashland and Paul Vernon Rothenstine Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Warnock; three grandchildren, Lindsay Rothenstine of Lexington, Drew Rothenstine of Ft. Knox and Paige Victoria Rothenstine – Short of Greenup; a great granddaughter, Paisley Williams; his best friend, Harold Gillum and his wife Bonnie of Greenup along with a host in nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE in Greenup County KY by Brother Gary Burton.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Military services will be held by members of the Kenova American Legion and U.S. Navy.  

In lieu of flowers it’s requested that donations be made to Kentucky Veterans Cemetery % Trust Fund 100 Veterans Memorial Drive Grayson KY 41143.
