1934 – 2020
Peggy Lou Alexander 86 of Worthington KY went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Hospice of Huntington.
She was born in Chimney Corner WV on April 13, 1934 a daughter of the late Samuel Bennett & Emma Jeannette “Nettie” McVey Butner.
She was a retired sales clerk and was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid reader and loved to work crossword puzzles and word find puzzles.
She was preceded in death along with her parents by two husbands, Arthur Graham Bailey and Lloyd Eugene Alexander.
She is survived by a son, Darin Alexander of Grayson; two daughters, Drema Craft and her husband James Leslie of Worthington and Lori Alexander of Huntington; five grandchildren, Nathan Leslie Craft, Patrick Alexander Craft, Laura Beth Schumm, Matthew Eugene Alexander and Alexandra Dawn Nichols; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Wendell Butner of Amsted WV, Arthur Butner of Lansing WV, Denny Butner of Chimney Corner and Roger Keith Butner of Grayson; two sisters, Connie Lawhun of Ruffin, NC and Phyllis Pallister of Reedville VA along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with Peggy’s arrangements.
