Phyllis Joyce Stevens 82 of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Elsie KY on September 12, 1940 a daughter of the late Buford & Lettie Brown Gullett.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a brother Jack Gullett and a sister Betty Coomer.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Clarence Edward “Tucker” Stevens; a son, William Edward “Dick” Stevens and his wife Ronda of Wurtland; four grandchildren, Kylee Grace Stevens, Cody Lucas, Anna Clarke and Parker Clarke; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Gullett of Lynn and Don Gullett of South Shore; three sisters, Elizabeth Faye Pence of Maloneton KY, Bessie Claxon of Wurtland and Debbie Leadingham of Wurtland along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Kevin Whitt.

Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE in Greenup County KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 12, 2023 and 1 hour before the funeral on Monday at the funeral home.
