1948 – 2021

Ralph Hackworth 72 of Greenup Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 2, 2021, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland KY.

He was born in Greenup County Kentucky on November 20, 1948, a son of the late Elva & Monnie Abdon Hackworth.

He was a retired laborer for C.S.X. Railroad and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by a son, Ralph Gregory Hackworth of Worthington; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Hackworth of Russell KY; five grandchildren, Austin Hackworth, Tyler Hackworth, Bryson Cooper, Brynell Hackworth and Sidarah Taylor; two sisters, Margie Waugh and Pauline Hall; two brothers, Hank Hackworth and Elva Hackworth Jr.; a special cousin, Mary Ann Rose along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 12:30 PM on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother John Stapleton.

Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE in Greenup County.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till the time of the funeral on Thursday.
