Randy Collins
1954 – 2026
Randy Marshall Collins of Boyd County, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Kingsbrook Life Care Center in Ashland, KY.
Born October 13, 1954, in Ashland, Kentucky, he was the son of the late William Avery and Helen Maxalene Caldwell Collins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Rose Martin Collins, on February 26, 2018.
He is survived by his brother, Dwight S. Collins and his wife Jane, and their children Elijah, Margaret and Samuel; three great nieces, Matilda (Eli), Cecelia and Maxelene (Sam); cousins, Joann Caldwell Simpson and her son Rick and wife Ginger, and Wayne Lafferty and Karen Castle.
Randy was a former employee of South Ashland Florist and Greenhouse. He later became an intake counselor at Pathways, Inc., a major non-profit, community-based mental health and addiction services provider.
Special thanks to the staff, especially the kitchen staff, and nurses at Kingsbrook, who made Randy feel at home and cared for him so well.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.
