1944 – 2022

Rhonda Kay Simpson, 77, of Ashland KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Woodland Oaks Health Care in Ashland KY.

She was born in Campbellsville, KY on December 11, 1944, a daughter of the late James and Ruby Smith Simpson.

Rhonda was of the Methodist faith. When she was younger, she loved traveling and going to Blue Ribbon Lanes Bowling Alley with her mother and sister.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a sister, Sharla Coffee.

She is survived by her second loving Mother, Belva Vanbibber Simpson; uncles, Howard (Margie) Simpson of Glasgow KY and J.R. Smith of Campbellsville KY along with a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Chaplain Jimm Smedley.

Burial will follow in the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd KY.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. till the time of the Funeral on Saturday at the Funeral Home.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
