Robert Arthur McKenzie 78, of Cannonsburg KY, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Boyd Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Ashland KY.

He was born in Melbourne KY on January 2, 1947, a son of the late Stephen Frances & Winifred Lee Abbott McKenzie.

He was a retired Linotype Operator and of the Pentecostal faith. Himself, being deaf, was a member of various Deaf Clubs throughout Kentucky and Cincinnati. He created an evangelistic ministry dedicated to the deaf and hard of hearing in the Kentucky / Ohio Area and he was a son of the American Revolution.  

He is survived by three sons, Joshua McKenzie, Elijah McKenzie and Zechariah McKenzie; a daughter, Jeana Hendershott as well as nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held a later date at the Greater Vision Full Gospel Church in Ryland Heights, KY by Chad Sizemore.  

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
