1961 – 2024

Roger Dean Miller 62, of South Portsmouth KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

He was born in Portsmouth OH on August 14, 1961, a son of Ronald & Elaine May Miller.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Miller and a daughter, Kristi Lynne Miller.

Roger loved to work with his hands from woodworking, mechanical work and working outside. He enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sells with his best friend Colton Russell.

He is survived by a son, Joshua Dean Miller and his wife Staci of Ashland KY; his mother, Elaine May Miller of Wheelersburg OH; two sisters, Rhonda Imel and her husband Roy of Greenup and Ruschele Sininger and her husband Jeff of Wheelersburg; two brothers, Ronnie Miller and his wife Beverly of Sciotoville OH and Ricky Miller and his wife Peggy of West Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Jaylynn Miller, Gavin Williams, Finley Miller, Brookelynn White and Bentley Miller and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Dan Horner.

Burial will follow in the Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth KY.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
