Roman Garred 34, of Boynton Beach Florida went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 29, 2022, in Boyton Beach.

He was born in Ashland KY on Sept. 19, 1988, a son of Cynthia Garred.

He was preceded in death by his daddy, Richard Jackson; his grandmommy, Winifred Hall; Aunts: Vivian Garred, Linda Garred, Clementine Garred; sister: Kimmy Jackson; brother: Matthew Jackson and cousins: Parrish Hall & Tavonne Oatis.

He is survived by his mother: Cynthia Garred (Boynton Beach, FL); his son, Gabriel Rodriguez, and Gabriel's mother, Ashley Rodriguez, both of Lexington, KY; his maw maw, Alice Jackson (Greenup, KY); sisters: Kendra Oatis (Houston, TX), Jo Jackson (Greenup, KY); a brother: Charles Jones Jr (Lexington, KY); aunt: Alice (Charles) Jones (Lexington, KY); uncles: William Hall (Marion, VA); Joseph (Debbie) Garred (South Point, OH); Frederick (Lori) Garred (West Palm Beach, FL); Eugene Garred (South Point, OH), Allen Garred (Greenup, KY) along with a host of cousins with whom he was very close.

To know Roman was to love him. He made himself at home wherever he went, and he made everyone feel at home when they were with him. He was a people person and loved being where the action was. 

He started cutting his friends' hair in middle school, so it was no surprise when he decided to attend barber college in Lexington, KY. He loved being a barber and making people look and feel good. He was extremely active and enjoyed swimming, working out, and teaching others how to live a healthier life. He was a great cook and loved to cook for his loved ones. 

He was a diehard fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats, the Philadelphia Eagles, and Lebron James. He enjoyed going to games, traveling, being outside in nature, Roman loved life, and he had the most amazing laugh, which we will forever cherish. 

The family will receive visitors for a Celebration of Life, from 12:00 Noon till 3:00 PM on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.
