Roscoe Duncan

1941 – 2021

 

Roscoe Dalphis Duncan 80 of Naples went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born in Pearisburg VA on February 11, 1941, a son of the late Ordean Drexel and Beulah Lamar Hall Duncan.

He was a retired Carman for CSX Railroad and was of the Nazarene faith.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife Barbara Ann Waugh Duncan; two sons, Brian Keith Duncan and Sidney Lee “Sid” Duncan and two brothers, Ordean Drexel Duncan Jr and an infant brother; a sister, Mary Belle Duncan and a special brother in law, Willie Clyde Waugh.

He is survived by two sons, Tim Duncan (Lynn) of Flatwoods and James Duncan of Wurtland; two daughters, Lisa Duncan Hamilton (Charles) of Load and Rebecka Sue Colegrove of Greenup; three brothers, Bill Duncan of Princeton WV, Carlos Duncan of Sanford FL and Johnny Duncan of Lashmeet WV; a sister, Carol Ray of Rockmark GA; 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Brother Kenny Martin.

Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashland KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Friday and one hour before the funeral Saturday at the funeral home.
