Rosemary Jean Kunges 77, of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Greenup County Kentucky on October 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Christoper Columbus & Charlotte Lenora Underwood Hern.

She was a member of the Russell Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a daughter, Susan Alora Kunges; a brother, James L. Hern and two sisters, Dixie Hern and Janice Harris.

She is survived by a son, Andrew Steven Kunges of Greenup; a sister, Krisa Forbes and her husband Ray of Argillite; her former husband, Andrew Fredric Kunges of Greenup along with a host on nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by Dr. Thomas Melvin.

Burial will follow in the Poynter Cemetery in Argillite KY.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, and one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
