Ruby Conley
1929 – 2023
Ruby Allen Conley, 93, of Houston Texas passed away on April 26, 2023, after a short stay in the hospital.
Ruby was born on July 27, 1929, to the late Reece and Dollie Allen in Greenup Kentucky.
Ruby met John C. Conley and they married on September 17, 1949, and moved to Connersville, Indiana. They had three children, Mitzi Bartlett, Mark Conley, and John Conley.
She was an active member of Western Avenue Baptist Church doing everything from singing in the choir to teaching vacation bible school until she and John retired to Texas to be with their children.
Ruby was predeceased by her husband, John C. Conley.
She is survived by her three children, two grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
Graveside memorial services will be held at the Allen Cemetery, on Ky. St. Rt. 1 in Oldtown KY on July 5, 2023 at 1:00 PM by Dr. Thomas Melvin.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Western Avenue Baptist Church 2800 Western Ave. Connersville, Indian 47331.
