Ryan David Martin 47, of Wurtland KY passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at his residence.

He was born in Ashland KY on October 19, 1978, the son of the late James Lester & Kathy Sue Newman Martin.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by a brother, Robert Eugene Martin.

He is survived by two sons, Isaiah Robert Martin of Franklin Furnace OH and Haven Blaine Martin of Portsmouth VA; a grandchild, Elias James Martin; two sisters, Christy Cory of Cincinnati and Jaime Martin of Edmonton KY; aunts and uncles, Carla Tanner, Tammy Martin, Eddie Fisher and Debbie Newman along with a host of other extended family and friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

Burial will be at a later date in the Vance Cemetery in Wurtland KY.  

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
