1951 – 2020

Sandra Gail Vance 68 of Midlothian VA went to be with the Lord on Friday October 9, 2020 at Henrico Hospital in Richmond VA.

She was born on November 7, 1951 a daughter of the George A. & Lillian Bartram Adkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillian Adkins of Flatwoods, KY and her daughter, Dawn Michelle (Shelley) Jarman, a brother, Michael and half siblings George Jr, Clifford, James, Clyde (Wells) and Mary Myers.

Sandy is survived by her husband Dwight of Midlothian, VA and her granddaughter Cassandra Marie (Jarman) Hanft of Thornburg, VA.

Sandy was a very spiritual and caring person. She mentored many of Shelley and Cassie's young friends in the Word of God, as well as many friends and family.

Sandy loved her family and friends, traveling, decorating and cooking. She was also a devout supporter of Israel and its people. She traveled there many times and assisted others who wanted to go as well.

The world to her family and friends is much diminished by Sandy's passing. She is certainly walking on the streets of gold of Heaven with her loved ones, enjoying a tremendous reunion.

Funeral services will be held at Noon, Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup. KY

Burial will follow in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods KY.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
