Sophia Sylvia Stevens 81 of Greenup KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland KY.

She was born in Crows Run Pennsylvania on March 2, 1941 a daughter of the late Stephen & Anna Pieprzyk Pettner.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by a son Gerald Trammell and seven siblings.

She is survived by her husband, James David Stevens; three sons, Roy Trammell and his wife Barbara of Murfreesboro TN, Thomas Trammell and his wife Jessie of Junction City KS, Roger Trammell and his wife Sue of Ironton OH; four daughters, Elizabeth Hawkins and her husband Roy of Noble OK, Delores Woodring and her husband Alvin of Oklahoma City OK, Carol Newhouse of Greenup and Tina Salerno and her husband Mark of Summer Field FL; a daughter in law, Julie Trammell of Oshkosh WI; a sister, Pauline Jenkins, of Leetsville PA; 30 grandchildren, several great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 till 6:00 PM on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.

Memorial services and burial will be held at a later date.
