1953 – 2024

Susan Faye Conley, 70 of Flatwoods, KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2024, at the Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.

She was born in Ashland, Kentucky on March 9, 1953, a daughter of the late James Earl & Bertie Mae (Mcintosh) Stringer.

She was retired from Kings Daughters Medical Center as a nurse in Labor and Delivery. Following retirement, she cared for many veterans in our community.

She was preceded in death along with her parents by her husband, James Keith Conley in 2017 and a brother Ronald Perry.

She survived by a son, James Alan “Bub” Conely of Flatwoods KY; a daughter, Cindi Michelle Bradley and her husband Derrick of Greenup KY; two sisters, Donna Griffith of Dayton OH and Sandra Price of Flatwoods KY; four grandchildren, Makenzie Bradley, Collin Bradley, Evan Conley, and Axton Conley along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2024, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE in Greenup County KY. By Brother Chester Keathley

Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE in Greenup KY, where she will be buried with her late husband Keith Conley.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till 12:30 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
