1961 – 2026

Teddy Wayne Johnson, 65, of Flatwoods KY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

He was born on July 2, 1961, in Portsmouth OH, a son Charlie and Donna Hall Blevins.

Teddy was a retired Truck Driver for Patton Lumber and was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, mowing grass and watching NASCAR.

His mother preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Teresa Mae Johnson; his father; two brothers, Kenneth Johnson of Argillite KY and Russell Blevins of Summit OH; a sister, Charlotte Kiser and her husband Jim of Grayson KY along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, August 28, 2026, at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY by brother Ron Blevins.

Burial will follow in the Blevins Cemetery in Argillite KY.  

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM till time of service on Friday at the funeral home.

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup, KY. has been entrusted with the arrangements.
