Terry Curtis Craft
1954 – 2020
Terry Curtis Craft 66, of Chesapeake VA formally of Wurtland KY passed away on June 16, 2020 at Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth VA after a 10 year struggle with Parkinson Disease.
He was born May 6, 1954 in Ashland KY a son of the late Maynard and Maxine Cox Craft.
He was a graduate of Wurtland High School, proudly served in US Army and later retired from the City of Chesapeake VA. He loved to be outdoors and was always finding something to tinker on.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Sharon Willis.
Surviving him in addition to his long time partner Joanne Edwards are two sons, Joshua Craft and his wife Marianne of Ashland VA and Christopher Craft of Chesapeake; a step daughter, Karen Edwards; three granddaughters, Alexa Craft, Taylor Craft and Jade Edwards; three brothers, Larry Craft and his wife Joyce of Lloyd, Danny Craft and his wife Peg of Wurtland, James Craft and his wife Drema of Worthington; a sister, Teresa Vergne of North Chesterfield VA along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A remembrance service will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM on July 3, 2020 at Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY.
Burial will be later in the Baker Cemetery in Grayson KY.
