1966 – 2024

Terry Wayne Tyler 57 of Flatwoods KY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland KY.

He was born in Ann Arbor MI on November 29, 1966, the son of Glenn & Ann Mitchell Tyler.

He was a former security officer for the TVA at the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant in Athens AL and was a member of the Greenhill Masonic Lodge 521 F & A.M.

His father preceded him in death.

He is survived along with his mother by his wife, Melissa Gayle Tracy Tyler; two daughters, Kailey Rena Shaw and her husband David of Kansas City MO and Jenna Beth Tyler of Flatwoods; a sister in law, Tammi Rena Darnell and her husband Roy; two nephews, Heath Stephenson and his wife Jessie and their sons (Noah and Waylon) and Tyler Ray Darnell; a niece, Cortney Mainprize; a cousin, Marcia Mitchell Cox along with a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Greenup First Baptist Church in Greenup KY by Dr. Thomas Melvin.

Visitation will be after 6:00 PM on Friday, June 7, 2024, and 2 hours before the funeral on Saturday at the church.

Greenhill Masonic Lodge will hold Masonic Funeral services at 7:00 PM during visitation.
