Tribune Tharpe
1953 – 2022
Tribune Tharpe 69 of Lowder Fork in South Shore KY went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at his residence.
He was born in Gauge KY on July 3, 1953, a son of the late Pearl & Edith Deaton Tharpe.
He was preceded in death along with his parents by three brothers, Larry Thorpe, John Tharpe and Curt Tharpe and two sisters, Laura Sue Tharpe and Mildred Meadows.
He was a former security guard for Ashland Oil Inc and a former truck driver for J.B. Hunt.
His is survived by a daughter, Shawna Michelle Wilburn of Russell KY; three grandchildren, Dustin Wolf, Laura Bias and Damian Wilburn; two brothers, Jack Tharp and his wife Patty of Garrison and Arlie Tharp of South Shore; three sisters, Joyce Minor of Flatwoods, Betty Anderson and her husband Richard of Morehead and Amanda Sue Seal of Hazard KY along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, November 14, 2022, at the Tharp Cemetery in Garrison KY by Dr. Thomas Melvin.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till Noon Monday at the funeral home.
Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to offset the funeral expenses.
