William Edward “Bill” Brown 89, of Maloneton KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born on Big White Oak in York KY on January 30, 1937, a son the late Hardin & Maggie Yates Brown.

He was a retired Painter for C.S.X. Railroad, a member of the Laborers Union and a member of the Board of Directors for the Maloneton Fire Department.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by his wife, Florence Earwood Brown in 2006; a daughter, Beverly Brown and was the last surviving sibling of 15 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by Janice & Randall Horner and Florence & Adam Gumbert along with many other extended family and friends.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

Burial will be at a later date in Roberts Cemetery on Big White Oak Road in York KY.
