1958 – 2020

William Eugene “Hillbilly” Cordell 62 of Danleyton KY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at his home following a courageous battle with Colon Cancer.

He was born in Boyd County KY on October 9, 1958 a son of the late Eugene Cordell & the late Virginia Carol Pruitt Jackson.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and worked many years as a professional painter in Florida. He enjoyed his motorcycles and spending time with his friends.

He is survived several friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery NE by Dr. Thomas Melvin.

There is no visitation.

Military honors will be conducted by members of the Kenova American Legion and active members of the U.S. Army.

The Patriot Guard will escort him to the cemetery and serve as Pallbearers.     

Wright’s Funeral Home in Greenup KY has been entrusted with his arrangements.
