Willis Kirk Obituary

Willis Kirk 93 of Flatwoods went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Kingsbrook Life Care Center in Ashland KY.

He was born in Martin County KY on August 10, 1924 a son of the late Lewis & Rose Crum Kirk.

He was a retired Station Lineman for CSX and was the oldest member of the local IBEW Union.

He was preceded in death along with his parents by two wives, Elmo Clark Kirk and Opal Kirk.

He is survived by a son, Lewis Rush Kirk and his wife Dora Lee of Flatwoods; a step son, Larry Pugh of Pikeville; two granddaughters, Sunshine Hannah and her husband Carlton and Star Mann and her husband Brad; two great grandchildren, Jill Mann and Stella Hannah; two sisters, Emma Jean Turley and her husband Tommy of Chesapeake and Glen Edith Ward of Inez along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the New Friendship Baptist Church in Martin County KY.

Burial will follow in the Kirk Family Cemetery in Martin County.

Viewing will be from 11:00 AM till the time of the service Sunday at the church.
