Aunt Mae was so kind to me growing up. She was like a grandmother to me. She will be missed.

Mae and I are first cousins. She was the first grandchild to our grandparents, Elbert Williamson and Cora Williamson. Mae was the kindest and most thoughtful person I have ever met. Her daughter, Roberts, is like a sister to me. Many times I experienced Mae's niceness...the last time I saw her, she made me chocolate gravy. She came out on her porch and was delighted to welcome me into her home. My mother adored Mae and her family. Richard and Roberta were often spoken of with love in our house. They are Mae's children. I am so proud to be a part of their family. My greatest thought about Mae is that she was a good Christian woman. She is with our Lord and for this I remind her family to draw comfort. In addition, I feel sorrow for her siblings and grandchildren's loss. My Mae...how beautiful you were!
